Let me begin by saying I have enjoyed the last six month stint at Hatch, Hackney so so much. The team and customers have been amazing and I have had a blast! I feel quite sad moving but also looking ahead at what is set to be an incredibly busy and exciting summer.
My first stop will be Glastonbury Festival where I will be working in the crew catering kitchen at Block9. This yearly reoccurring event is much anticipated throughout the year and like a massive reunion for our kitchen motley crew. I literally cannot wait!
July will see me working for my good friends and mentors at Bubble and Squeak Food at several private wedding events and I will be taking my trailer to Whitstable Oyster Festival in July where I will be dishing up some fine fish tacos with a South American twist. I have never been to this festival but I love British coastal places and I ❤️ fish so what can go wrong, right?
But that’s not all! The lovely Rooms of Clapton and I are also busying ourselves, planning and organising a pop up in the shop where we take inspiration from the colours and quirky environment that is Rooms for our cocktail and food menu.
August highlights will include a series of Saturday night PopUps at the wonderful Edith’s House in Crouch End including an evening of Craftbeers, Board games and sharing platter and the much anticipated “lucky bitches” where we pay homage to all things Jackie Collins, Lucky Santagalo and eighties. I will soon post ticket links on this site. So look out for those.
I am working on several other projects all of which are also super exciting and at times I pinch myself just how much good stuff has come my way.
